Message to the Judges
Dear Judges,
Starting my senior project was one of the most nerve racking things I have ever done in my life. I have a huge fear of speaking in front of people, so after I realized we were starting this project I began to stress. Although I was nervous and scared I am now very excited about the opportunity I have to face my fear of public speaking and improving a life skill that I may use in my future career. In my lifetime I never really volunteered my time other than coaching flag football during high school, but my aunt spends a lot of time helping with fundraisers in our community whether it is just helping with prizes or actually helping with the event. Growing up I spent a lot of time with my little brothers and cousins which is why I think my personality is the way it is. I tried to choose jobs where I would be interacting with people and kids anytime I could. At the end of each job I was satisfied with the joy people had from my volunteerism. Whether it was playing with the kids at the fair or painting the soccer fields for the soccer tournaments. I knew that they truly enjoyed the things I helped with. Coming to the end of this project I believe that this project, town, and school made me into the best person I could possibly be.
Thank you all for taking time out of your day and helping with this project that has taught me a lot.
